This position is for a Cyber Security Engineer Lead on the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) program. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic Cyber engineering team that designs, develops, documents, tests, and maintains full spectrum cyber solutions. This position is specifically for an individual interested in leading Authorization and Accreditation using Risk Management Framework & Cyber Requirements activities for the SBIRS operational systems. As a Cyber Security Engineer supporting the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) program, your responsibilities will include: Conducting cyber risk assessment activities, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions. Developing, evaluating, and analyzing design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security designs. Implementing appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers. Managing ATO, ATC, IATT packages in eMASS. Specific technical responsibilities include: Assessing and driving mitigation efforts of system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle for the Space Vehicles and Ground system. Implementing security policies and or configurations to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) objectives. Interacting significantly with other engineering disciplines to implement security designs, resolve vulnerabilities, modify system or software components security settings, and mitigate risk. Performing System Engineering activities to manage Cyber requirements for tracking until closure. Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of related cyber professional experience Administrative experience with Linux and/or Windows systems Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams Demonstrable knowledge of cyber concepts, penetration testing methods, vulnerabilities, information assurance, and security methodology Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree with 2 years related professional experience, or Master's degree in relevant field Strong teamwork skillset Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures Experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of Information Systems Familiar with eMASS, HBSS, ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), DISA STIGs Ability to translate/brief complex cyber security principles to all levels of knowledge and skill Scripting experience (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) Experience with Intel Driven Threat Modeling, preferably classified Cyber Threat Intel Support DoD 8140 (formerly 8570 IAT II) Certification Security Clearance Statement:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $79,700 - $140,530. Benefits offered:
