36 Job Details: This position serves as a certified registered anesthetist (CRNA) within the Division of Anesthesia servicing the Department of Surgical Services. While a CRNA will always be accountable for any anesthetic he/she performs, all anesthetics performed at DCH will be under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist within Children's Anesthesia Group, Inc. (CAG). The CRNA utilizes specialized knowledge, skill, research, and competency acquired through advanced professional training to promote optimum care of patients and families within the neonatal/pediatric population. The CRNA utilizes the pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising staff Anesthesiologist to devise a plan for anesthetic induction, maintenance, and emergence. Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing Graduation from an accredited AANA program CRNA certification and licensure in the State of Ohio PALS certification Communication/customer service/basic computer skills Good manual dexterity Physical/emotional stamina PREFERRED:
1-3 years of neonatal/pediatric experience
