A Day in the Life
This role will oversee the Production Planning, Purchasing, and Site Warehousing teams at the Warsaw and Memphis manufacturing sites, driving performance to achieve service and inventory targets by developing high-performing teams.
As the Site Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a team responsible for all facets of production planning, operations scheduling, master production scheduling (MPS), capacity planning, material requirements planning (MRP), and the release of purchase and work orders. You’ll collaborate closely with site leadership, manufacturing, supply planning, finance, new product development, and supply management.
You will establish standard work practices, utilize tiered management systems, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

for Medtronic. The successful candidate will be expected to be onsite full time. In this exciting opportunity you will lead a team in Warsaw, IN and Memphis, TN which will require you to travel up to 25% of the time to our Memphis site. A Day in the Life: Serve as a key participant and owner in the monthly SIOP cycle, managing long-term rough-cut capacity planning and scenario analysis. Proactively identify and escalate exceptions for business consideration, offering possible scenarios and solutions. Lead Tier 3 Operations Scheduling and Tier 2 Materials meetings to surface and resolve exceptions. Own Plan vs Actual performance, conducting thorough root cause analysis with clear action plans, assigned owners, and deadlines. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong accountability and the ability to influence business decisions to drive results. Act as the primary point of contact for site leadership, manufacturing, global supply chain, finance, and plant operations teams on volume planning, Plan vs Actual, and inventory matters. Champion and manage capacity-constrained Master Production Scheduling and MRP to align manufacturing with demand, aiming for zero backorders and backlog. Support network transfer projects and balance ramp-down activities to maintain uninterrupted service. Ensure effective material planning and purchase execution to maintain optimal material availability and prevent production line stoppages. Lead VMI and supplier integration initiatives. Coach and mentor the purchasing and production planning teams. Skillfully contribute as a core team member on large-scale or complex projects, adding value beyond traditional supply chain responsibilities. Maintain a strategic perspective to optimize overall supply chain performance and exceed site service KPIs. Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years of management experience or Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years of management experience. Nice to Have Working knowledge of SAP, Blue Yonder and Power BI Software skills including MS Office (MS Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint) Knowledge of Production Planning, Supplier Mgmt., warehousing Medical Device/ Medical Supplies Manufacturing experience APICS CPIM/CSCP Experience implementing/ utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma/A3 techniques a plus. 10 years of experience of working in a Supply Chain in Manufacturing environment. Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively as a leader and/or team member with cross-functional teams Ability to generate customer value - Listening, understanding, anticipating and solving Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence key stakeholders in a global and matrix organization environment.
