Brunswick Group is seeking an Account Director with strategic communications advisory expertise within the Healthcare sector to join our New York office. Account Directors leverage their specialized skills while operating in Brunswick’s generalist environment. The Opportunity

We are looking for a healthcare-focused senior communications advisor who can manage high-volume, retained clients and contribute to new projects. The role includes contributing to business development, managing client relationships, developing key messages, and coordinating sector initiatives. What we look for

Standout Account Directors demonstrate: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities At least 4–7 years of relevant experience; corporate communications or agency experience a plus Understanding of HHS/FDA/health regulators, health policy, drug development, therapeutic areas, etc. Familiarity with the media landscape and healthcare reporters Knowledge of Factiva, Bloomberg and other research resources Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize Problem-solving abilities; strategic and creative thinking Discretion with confidential client matters; international experience is a plus Ideal Candidate A rising advisor with experience counseling clients on business-critical healthcare issues Adept at navigating high-performance, entrepreneurial environments Excellent communicator with professional polish and strong emotional intelligence Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit; good sense of humor Responsibilities

Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality, timely work across multiple engagements Develop client materials (press releases, Q&As, key messages) and manage communication with the team Provide day-to-day support for large retained healthcare clients and assist with new projects Contribute to business development, research, media tracking, and sector knowledge sharing Coordinate healthcare sector initiatives, including media relations and events Support internal communications and ensure team readiness for client work Assist with brainstorming, pitches, and market intelligence sharing Proactively contribute to account development and strategic direction Why Join Us

The successful applicant will be eligible for compensation and benefits as outlined below.
