A small sub-50 person could be an option. Work-life balance will be better but you have concerns that they’re going to be too small for you to make the grade to Director or Partner in future.
Why not get the best of both… You’ll be joining a mid-size firm with multiple office locations across New Jersey and New York. The multi-office set-up means the culture has a ‘family-feel’ to it, and with around 500 staff across the firm, there’s lots of scope to advance to Director and Partner.
Unlike positions with the top 10 firms, you’ll get plenty of variety, working with a wide range of clients (from small to international across multiple industries).
