Master Data Governance/Management - Senior - Consulting - Location OPEN. EY’s Analytics and Data team is seeking a Master Data Management Senior focusing on helping our clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. The role requires guiding clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies and defining master data management designs. The individual should be ready to support the full lifecycle of data assets, including maturity assessments and roadmaps for implementation. Responsibilities
Design and implement data governance frameworks aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to build analytics solutions delivering tangible business value. Conduct maturity assessments to enhance data management capabilities across the organization. Develop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software. Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy including data quality, data catalog, master data management, analytics use cases, AI/ML readiness, and systems alignment to ERP/CRM applications. Implement data quality tools and processes to maintain data standards throughout the infrastructure. Gather requirements, interpret BRDs, and collaborate with system analysts to develop source-to-target mappings. Perform data examinations prior to migration into data warehouses and generate detailed technical specifications aligned with BRDs. Lead multiple engagements to ensure delivery of high-quality services and client satisfaction. Travel to meet with external clients as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or related technical/scientific field. Minimum of 3 years direct involvement with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM. ERP implementation experience including full SAP implementation cycles with SAP MDG as a component. Typically, at least 3 years of relevant developer experience in master data management software. Strong understanding of Data Governance principles and Enterprise IT Architecture. A valid driver’s license in the US; willingness and ability to travel internationally to meet client needs. Track record of successful stakeholder engagement. Ideal Skills & Attributes
Experience with complex problem-solving and critical thinking. Ability to drive outcomes in collaborative environments and foster inclusive teams. Knowledge of digital fluency and hybrid collaboration tools. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecasts. Proficiency in metadata management, ontology design, and data privacy/governance principles. Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
