We are seeking a dynamic
Senior Manager of Tax
to lead our corporate tax strategy, compliance, and planning functions. This high-visibility role partners with executive leadership to drive strategic tax initiatives, optimize global tax positions, and ensure full compliance with U.S. federal, state, and international tax regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings deep technical expertise along with strong business acumen. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute comprehensive tax strategies to minimize risk, enhance cash flow, and support long-term business goals. Compliance & Reporting:
Oversee preparation and review of U.S. federal, state, and international income tax returns, quarterly and annual provisions, and FIN 48/ASC 740 calculations. Tax Planning:
Identify and implement domestic and international tax planning opportunities, including M&A structuring, transfer pricing, and cross-border strategies. Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing tax team, fostering professional growth and a culture of collaboration. Advisory & Business Partnering:
Provide executive-level guidance to finance, legal, and operations teams on the tax implications of business decisions and new regulations. Audit & Risk Management:
Manage IRS and state audits, maintain robust internal controls, and ensure SOX compliance. Policy & Process Optimization:
Drive process improvements, implement technology solutions, and standardize procedures for efficiency and accuracy. Regulatory Monitoring:
Stay ahead of evolving tax legislation, proactively communicating potential impacts and opportunities to senior leadership. Qualifications
CPA, JD/LL.M. in Tax, or MST preferred. 8–12+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, ideally in a Big Four/public accounting and multinational corporate environment. Deep knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax law; international tax experience a strong plus. Proven track record of leading complex tax projects and managing cross-functional teams.
