Security-cleared Professional:
You have completed the process of obtaining a United States government security clearance. A Top Secret Clearance is preferred. Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Experience:
You have extensive experience in security engineering and leadership roles as described below. Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and implement security systems within an organization IT network. Work with wireless networks, firewalls, IDS/IPS, LAN/WAN, SIEMs, and cloud integration strategies. Lead and manage a team of Security Engineers; provide coaching, problem solving, and effective communication. Apply risk management techniques to develop and complete risk assessments based on NIST standards to ensure security controls address IA risk. Interact with senior management and other stakeholders to explain and enforce security measures to protect agency assets. Qualifications
At least 10 years' experience designing, building, testing, and implementing security systems within an organizational IT Network; experience with Wireless Networks, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, LAN/WAN, SIEMs, and Cloud integration strategies. At least five years of experience managing a team of Security Engineers. Excellent teaching, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience applying risk management to develop and complete risk assessments in accordance with NIST standards. Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel, from senior management to staff, to explain and enforce security measures. Certifications: CISSP-ISSAP preferred or CISSP certification.
