Join the Division of Gastroenterology at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC) as a Hepatologist. The division is comprised of 23 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers all committed to providing compassionate, high quality, patient focused care. Providers see approximately 20,000 outpatients per year for a wide variety of GI and liver related problems including regionally recognized care in inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, nutrition, biliary tract disorders, diseases of the pancreas, colon cancer, and gastrointestinal motility disorders. Physicians also perform approximately 20,000 endoscopy procedures annually. At Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, we have one of the leading Liver Transplant Programs in the country. Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with liver disease, including pre- and post- liver transplant care. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and participation in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Opportunity
Focus on General Hepatology, and participate in our Liver Transplant Program Join a high-performing team. Academic affiliation with UMass-Chan Medical School (teaching opportunities available). Work within a fast-paced environment prioritizing quality and safety. Qualifications
BC/BE, Gastroenterology fellowship trained Transplant Hepatology fellowship training is desired, but not required Strong academic credentials Excellent clinical skills Collaborative and patient-centered Strong work ethic & organizational skills Senioriy level
