Position Overview Daytime Rounding Hospitalist – Full-Time
Aultman Hospital – Canton, Ohio
Key Responsibilities
Patient Load: Average of 16.82 patients per day.
Admissions: Typically handle one admission per day, with a full-time swing shift physician covering most daytime admissions.
Procedures: Closed ICU. No procedures required. Ultrasound available for POCUS, which is reimbursed per procedure as an additional income opportunity.
Team Structure: Work within a strong, collaborative team that includes:
9 Physicians and 4 Nurse Practitioners rounding daily
A Medical Director onsite
An RN Executive Director
2 RN Care Coordinators
2 Administrative Assistants
Meetings & Events:
Brief 15-minute daily huddle M-F to discuss census, care needs, etc.
Division meetings every 6-8 weeks to discuss group performance, challenges, and initiatives
An annual offsite event for team socialization and group discussion
A yearly holiday party in December to foster camaraderie
