AbbVie is seeking a Specialty Representative, Gastroenterology in Albany, NY. The successful candidate will execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, and maximize sales performance. Responsibilities
Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. Create pre-call plans and execute post-call evaluations to improve sales performance. Build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements between AbbVie and customers. Develop and execute a call plan to maximize access and sales opportunities. Continuously build understanding of customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, and market segments/dynamics. Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience. Relevant and equivalent industry experience required, with at least five years of experience and three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred. Demonstrated in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, with strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities. Proven track record of success in selling, with solid presentation skills and the ability to adapt to customer styles and behaviors. Leadership and support role experience, with the ability to influence others and build collaborative partnerships. Documented success in developing sales strategies and leveraging findings to drive business results. Preferred: Proven track record of success in sales performance within respective therapeutic areas, with commercial pharmaceutical industry experience and English language proficiency. Must satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements. What We Offer
