Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Job Description
We are seeking experienced and motivated Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. This role involves operating heavy equipment to achieve daily production goals related to storm drainage, pipe installation, trenching, and sewer work.
Responsibilities

Operate backhoes, excavators, dozers, front end loaders, and other heavy equipment for construction projects.

Perform storm drainage, pipe installation, trenching, and sewer work.

Utilize Trimble software for GPS operations.

Ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Maintain equipment and perform routine checks.
Essential Skills
-
3+ years of experience operating backhoes, excavators, dozers, and front end loaders.

Experience with GPS technology, specifically Trimble software.

Ability to pass practical skills tests for heavy equipment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-solving abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-
One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school or six months of related experience and/or training.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
-
Experience in heavy civil construction or road construction is a plus.
-
Relevant safety certifications are advantageous.

Work Environment
Work on projects within a 50-mile radius of Sanatoga, PA, covering site development, construction prep, trenching, drainage, grading, paving, and concrete foundation work. Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions, with exposure to outside weather, vibration, fumes, and loud noise levels. A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required as candidates will commute directly to the job site.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Easton, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
