Industrial Electrician 

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance, installation, and system upgrades within a high-volume automotive production facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with conduit installation, wire terminations, and PLC systems, with prior automotive or industrial manufacturing experience strongly .

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for production equipment, automation, and facility infrastructure.
  • Run and bend conduit (EMT/Rigid) to required specifications using hand and power tools.
  • Perform wire pulls, terminations, and panel wiring in accordance with electrical codes and plant standards.
  • Work with and maintain PLC-controlled systems—including testing I/O, replacing components, and supporting controls technicians as needed.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and related control devices.
  • Assist in equipment installations, line moves, and new process integrations.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, prints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and arc flash standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of industrial or commercial electrical experience.
  • Proven ability to run conduit, perform terminations, and work within control panels.
  • Basic understanding of PLC hardware (Allen-Bradley or Siemens ).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical prints.
  • Strong safety awareness and familiarity with NFPA 70E.

:

  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Journeyman Electrician License or recognized apprenticeship completion.
  • Experience working with 480V three-phase systems, VFDs, or robotic equipment.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, high-volume automotive manufacturing setting.
  • Requires standing, climbing, and working in elevated or confined areas as needed.
  • May involve off-shift or weekend work during equipment outages or upgrades.
