Responsibilities and Duties Perform comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care Refer patients for specialty care when necessary Educate patients on eye care and preventive vision health Document all treatments and exams accurately Utilize equipment such as auto-refractor, Topcon Maestro OCT, lensometer, phoropter, slit-lamp, and BIO
Additional Information Must hold a valid optometry license in California
