Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Patient Observer to join our team at

Saint Mary's Hospital

. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing exceptional observation and reporting of patients with a variety of medical conditions.

What you will do:

This critical role performs various duties related to patient assistance and experience, patient transportation and the cleaning and stocking of the Emergency Department.

Responsible for constant bedside observation of patients

Accurate reporting of all observations made on patients.

Meets/greets patients/families/visitors in a pleasant manner assisting them with comfort needs throughout their hospital stay.

Able to show compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and transparent communication with patients and families.

Other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

:

Education:

High School or equivalency certificate is required.

BLS or CPR Certification:

Current certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
