On the Waymo Marketing team, you will help to connect people with the magic and impact of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. Our team builds thoughtful marketing strategy, positioning, messaging and creative assets to deliver messages that matter to our audience, communicated through video content, social media interactions, and immersive physical experiences. We shape Waymo's go-to-market initiatives and help transform Waymo into a thriving business with a growing user base. You Will Strategy & Planning: Translate overarching brand and business goals into executable event roadmaps, defining the strategic approach for major programs, including high-impact stunt activations, international conferences, and global sponsorships (e.g., World Cup, Super Bowl, CES, SXSW). End-to-End Program Management: Lead the flawless execution of large-scale activations from concept to post-event analysis, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, budget management, and on-site execution. Creative & Experiential Design: Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to design compelling experiences that highlight the trust and magic of Waymo. Budget Ownership: Manage large, complex budgets to deliver programs on time and within targets, while seeking efficiencies and maximizing ROI. Measurement & Reporting: Establish objectives, track KPIs, and deliver detailed reporting on brand lift, lead generation, media value, and business impact to senior leadership. You Have 10+ years of progressive experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or large-scale project management, with a focus on global consumer and B2B events. Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar event budgets and leading complex activations (e.g., large convention booths, major consumer stunts, or national/global sponsorship activations). Ability to develop event strategy aligned to business and brand objectives. Exceptional leadership, vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to flex between high-level strategic development and hands-on execution. We Prefer Experience in the autonomous vehicle, automotive, or high-growth technology industry. A strong portfolio demonstrating creative, measurable experiential programs. Experience negotiating and managing major event sponsorships. Understanding of brand safety and policy issues related to emerging technology, with experience working with legal and policy teams. Experience mentoring team members and readiness for future people leadership. Travel:
Willingness to travel globally as required to manage on-site execution. Salary Range: $204,000—$259,000 USD
