Senior Account Supervisor, Social Strategy,

to join our growing team of social strategists, practitioners, and community experts that will be supporting Microsoft across workstreams, with a focus on strategy for creator activations, comms planning, and emerging media – new ways people are using social and up and coming channels and events. You will specialize in what’s next—from creators and podcasts to new platforms like Threads, Reddit, Discord, and Substack. You’ll help define how brands can participate in emerging channels and storytelling formats, collaborating with strategists, creatives, influencer/creator specialists, and earned media teams to build integrated, insight-driven campaigns. Responsibilities:

Strategic leader for creator campaigns. Collaborate closely with influencer, social, comms, and creative teams to co-develop campaigns. Conducting audience research, identifying the role of product, and create compelling briefs for creative teams and creators. Craft messaging and guardrails for creator content and design channels and rollouts to bring content to life. Help develop Assembly’s connections and emerging media capabilities. Craft POVs and recos based on emerging platforms and trends. Support and help lead emerging media strategy across client workstreams, with a focus on creators, podcasts, and new platform opportunities. Consult on campaigns on how ideas can leverage emerging media and best use variety of channels. Active leader for 10+ members of strategy team. Helping with trainings and sharing knowledge. Develop trend reports, platform memos, and whitespace analyses around formats like branded podcasts, Discord communities, or newsletter collaborations. Advocate for measurement and impact. Partner with analytics teammates to evaluate content performance and emerging media ROI. Basic Qualifications:

At least 6 years of experience in social strategy (organic, paid, creator), content and platform management, with at least 2 years developing or overseeing integrated social media strategies A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Qualifications:

Expertise in emerging and social platforms (TikTok, Reddit, Threads, Twitch, Discord, Substack, etc.) Familiarity with creator strategy or influencer marketing; experience working directly with talent is a plus Comms and media planning experience on how to bring a campaign or story to life across earned, owned, creator, paid, etc. Skilled in telling persuasive stories in decks, briefs, presentations, conversations, memos – all rooted in audience and product insights and media fluency Quantitative experience in developing audience and category insights and working with teams to glean insights from content metrics Experience working within or adjacent to large tech or B2B brands is helpful Salary: $86,000 - $115,000 a year Assembly offers a wide range of benefits: medical and dental insurance, vision, 401K, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, travel assistance and wellness programing.
