What You'll Do: • Assist dentists chairside with procedures (passing instruments, suctioning, retracting tissue, etc.) • Prepare and mix dental materials (cement, impressions, restoratives) • Sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and follow infection control protocols • Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort and safety • Support with wheelchair transfers and patient emergencies (BLS certification required) • Maintain dental records, lab cases, and prescription logs in compliance with HIPAA • Schedule appointments and manage dental supplies inventory • Provide post-treatment instructions and clarify dentist's orders when needed • Complete equipment checks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs • Assist medical and nursing staff with vitals and patient escort as needed
What We're Looking For: • High School Diploma • At least 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience • Current BLS certification • COVID-19 vaccination required
