Assembly Advisement Workplace Coach
to support the
Tube Ducts and Reservoirs Center (TDRC)
in
Algona, WA . The successful candidate will be required to work a split shift between
8am to 4pm
OR
9am to 5pm.
In this role, you will partner with our fabrication teams to ensure individuals are properly trained and follow procedures according to Boeing standards.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria Analyzes and interprets data Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans Works under minimal direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Algona, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Aerospace, Assembly, and Fabrication 5+ years of experience with hands-on fabrication in any of the following: tubes, ducts, reservoirs and part mark 5+ years' experience with the Boeing Production System 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams 3+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience in Aerospace, Assembly, and Fabrication 5+ years of experience with Jig/fixture tools, swaging, and part marking 5+ years of experience in aircraft tube manufacturing Experience with tubing and ducting manufacturing/installation/maintenance Shift:
This position is for a split shift. You will work between
8am to 4pm
