Position Summary:
The Forklift Operator will support Ricoh's warehouse and field distribution operations by performing equipment and supply picking, palletizing, loading, and general inventory management. This role involves the operation of Raymond stand-up forklifts, Toyota sit-down forklifts, and order pickers, while adhering strictly to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order pickers to move and organize inventory. Use
RF Scanner (RFC)
to track inventory and complete order processing tasks. Pick and stack equipment and supplies, manually shrink-wrap pallets for shipment. Maximize pallet loads and ensure proper packing and labeling. Follow detailed instructions from department leads and warehouse supervisors. Perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 100 lbs (team lift over 50 lbs). Maintain a clean and organized work area; complete end-of-day cleanup routines. Assist with basic warehouse tasks including receiving, sorting, shipping, and document scanning. Ensure adherence to Ricoh's safety procedures and training guidelines (80 hours of initial training required). Perform occasional facility support duties, including light maintenance, meeting setup, and copier operation. Use basic office and warehouse tools including shrink-wrap machines, bindery equipment, and hand tools. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
required. Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience , with at least
1 year operating stand-up forklifts . Valid or recent forklift certification preferred (Reach, Dock Stocker, Sit-Down Forklift). Experience using RF Scanners is
required . Proficient in basic computer use; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Previous experience in shipping/receiving, mailroom, or distribution is a plus. Knowledge of basic electronics and copier operation is a bonus.
