Job Summary and Qualifications

The Quality Coordinator maintains and coordinates timely policies and procedures maintenance, review/revision, posting, and distribution. The Coordinator organizes and maintains systematic data collection and flow of information between departments and into applicable committees.

What you will do in this role:

• Track renewal dates of policies and procedures to ensure timely notification of owners for review.
• Ensure receipt of reviewed policies and procedures for timely posting.
• Notify appropriate management staff when posting of policies and procedures is completed.
• Organize and maintain Department and Committee Quality and Regulatory Reporting Calendar to ensure timely and compliant reporting.
• Notify owner of report in a timely manner to facilitate receipt of report for appropriate meeting.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain Medical Necessity Review Calendar.
• Establish good working relationships with Medical Staff and Facility Staff.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 4 years of related clinical experience required.
• 2+ years of QA/PI experience preferred.
