Shift Type:
Days | 4x10hr shifts (7a–5p or 8a–6p)
Guaranteed Hours:
40/week
On-Call:
Required – 12hr overnight and/or weekend shifts. Department-based needs, typically 2–3 overnight calls/week and/or 1–2 weekends/month. Must be able to meet
30-minute response time .
Position Overview:
The
Cardiac Cath Lab RN
provides patient care and clinical expertise during interventional procedures, managing critical situations such as STEMI response. The role requires advanced technical proficiency, the ability to manage hemodynamic monitoring devices (including balloon pumps), and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with rotating on-call responsibilities.
Requirements:
Education:
BSN preferred
Experience:
Cath Lab RN experience – required
Interventional Radiology experience – preferred
EPIC experience – preferred
Previous travel experience – preferred
Proficiency with balloon pumps – required
Must be able to take STEMI call – required
Certifications:
BLS (AHA) – required
ACLS (AHA) – required
License:
Active RN license in state of assignment
Submission Requirements:
2+ years current Cath Lab RN experience – required
Proficient with balloon pumps – required
BLS, ACLS – required
Interventional Radiology & EPIC experience – preferred
Prior travel experience – preferred
