Dental Assistant Job at Mid America Health,Inc in La Grange

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full-time dental assistant to join our KY team. This amazing dental assisting opportunity will work either a 4-day schedule, Tuesday through Friday from 6 am to 4 pm, or a 5-day schedule, Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2 pm. This dental assistant position will work between 2 facilities, Luther Luckett Correctional Complex and Roederer Correctional Complex. Both of the facilities are located in LaGrange, KY.

This position is a rewarding, low-stress alternative to private practice dentistry that offers health insurance, including optional dental and vision coverage as well as generous paid time off and paid holidays. There are no late nights or weekends required for this position. Mid America Health offers competitive compensation of $18 per hour.

Duties

Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. No ortho, crown & bridge or endo required. Significant administrative duties are also required.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• KY X-Ray Certification required
• CPR for Health Care Providers
