The Opportunity:
This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve children and young people in our communities, improving their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing the best patient experience possible
- Supporting optimized schedules and conducting open treatment calls to educate patients' parents/guardians on the importance and urgency of pending treatments
- Taking diagnostic radiographs and intraoral pictures (periapical, bitewings, panoramic) and assisting others in doing so
- Using dental documentation software to locate and manage patient records efficiently
- Providing behavior management following guidelines approved by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
- Maintaining a clean, sterile, and patient-centric environment
- Ensuring the practice is clean and presentable, including cleaning restrooms, lobby, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Complying with all applicable regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board, ADA, DOL)
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working in a dental office
- Proficiency with hygiene and operative instruments and understanding their proper use
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for professional growth
- Organizational skills and a solid knowledge of dentistry
Physical Requirements:
This position requires full body motion. Employees must be able to sit, walk, stand, talk, hear (in person and by phone), operate office equipment, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
