Overview
Phlebotomy Supervisor with Labcorp. Lead a team of phlebotomists and oversee patient service centers and designated client locations within DC and PG County. Focus on leading, inspiring, and developing others to enhance the patient and client experience.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 4am - 6pm; Saturdays as assigned. Additional days and hours may be required. Must be very flexible.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $58,000 - $76,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 25+ phlebotomists in Patient Service Centers and/or physician offices
- Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
- Monitor monthly productivity and report deviations
- Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful planning
- Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals
- Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions
- Hire and train phlebotomists to fill open positions
- Communicate effectively with patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
- Assist in setting up new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices
- Provide resolution of patient or client issues
- Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed
- Travel to additional sites as necessary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a leadership position
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
- Previous experience as a phlebotomist is highly preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
