Phlebotomy / Medical Assistant Job at AIDS Healthcare Foundation in Orlando

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a Wellness Client Care Specialist (WCCS2) to present a friendly, helpful face to patients seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics and Fixed Site locations.

A WCCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to clients within testing programs. The role enhances the reputation of AHF by embodying our commitment to excellence in patient care, patient retention, operational efficiency, and adaptability.

The WCCS2 will work as a part of a close-knit team to focus on comprehensive patient care by collecting medical histories, managing tests/screenings, recording vitals, and addressing health complaints. They will facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation. The role requires proficiency in data documentation, including referrals and reports. A valid phlebotomy license or medical assistant certificate is necessary, with skills in venipuncture and sample collection, including blood and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory analysis.
