The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to work in our Norcross office. The Administrative Assistant will help provide administrative and clerical support to various departments. Our ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills and a passion for administrative excellence/efficiency. Must have a commitment to ensuring a high-quality work product, while being flexible, approachable and taking the initiative to get things done efficiently. This position is a long-term opportunity to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Answers the main phone line and responds to or transfers calls as needed
  • Mails, emails, faxes, scans, and indexes invoices, contracts, quotes, correspondences, purchase orders, manifests, and various supplemental documentation
  • Prepares and updates various spreadsheets, service contracts, files, correspondences, and internal memorandums as directed
  • Processes credit card receipts and work orders daily
  • Processes CODs
  • Backups the Dispatch team and assists with coordinating customer calls (program coordination / larger scope or volumes / scheduling / parts)
  • Creates customer profiles in various programs
  • Generates daily reports to monitor open calls
  • Assists with database/portal management
  • Additional administrative work as needed

Requirements And Skills

  • Must be experienced with Microsoft software
  • Excellent customer service required
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • High accuracy with data entry skills required
  • Able to work in a high-paced environment
