The Military Flight Controls Division provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. As a member of our team, you are instrumental in fulfilling our mission: 'Enabling Engineering Breakthroughs that Lead to a Better Tomorrow.'
Accurately and efficiently assembles/tests a variety of complex products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules. Works on products that contain mechanical, electronic, and dual hydraulic systems.
Essential Functions
- Performs complex assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Sets up complex test equipment on a variety of products to measure and record valve or system conformance to test specifications.
- Verifies accuracy of test stand and set-up prior to testing and makes necessary adjustments to attain specified test results.
- Conducts tests using common and/or computerized data acquisition equipment and interprets/records test results on data forms.
- Produces and inspects assemblies that conform to product specifications.
- Interprets blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
- Actively leads lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement.
- Interfaces with support functions to solve product problems and conduct work according to business contract.
Job Requirements
Seven or more years direct industry related experience in both assembly/test in a high technology manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Parker Aerospace products desired.
Demonstrate a broad and comprehensive understanding of complex hydraulic, pneumatic, or fuel products involving electronics, dual systems, and multiple part families.
Competitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $31.10/hour - $46.70/hour
