Your Role As An Entry-level Carpenter
You contribute daily to the strength and longevity of marine structures, where you frequently use your hands to perform precise measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials. You operate hand and power tools under the guidance of experienced crew members, always focused on maintaining a safe and clean work environment. You assist the team with essential groundwork, including site preparation and material handling, while developing your skills in reading basic blueprints to understand project specifications.

Barefoot Marine Construction is a design/build marine construction services contractor. On or near the water, our designs are robustly engineered to exceed standards. We specialize in marine structures, mechanical driving, bulkhead and seawall repair, soil stabilization, marina maintenance, structural concrete repair, and more.

What We Need From You
We're looking for someone who can work 7 am-4 pm Monday through Friday, with overtime opportunities, while meeting the following qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to learn the carpentry trade
• Knowledge of basic hand tools
• Safety-minded and works well with others
• Ability to be on time and present for work
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to take directions well and be part of a crew
• Ability to pick up 50+ lbs. daily
