As the Data Analyst/Data Engineer at Cornerstone Building Brands, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the data pipelines, workflows, and reporting systems that drive NFRC certification and compliance. You'll partner with engineering and product development teams to integrate simulation results, automate certification processes, and ensure accurate data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain structured databases and data pipelines for NFRC certification records and submissions.
- Automate workflows for data collection, simulation inputs/outputs, and certification reporting.
- Integrate NFRC simulation data (THERM, WINDOW, or equivalent) into centralized data systems.
- Build dashboards, reporting tools, and visualizations to track certification status, simulation results, and compliance KPIs.
- Monitor data quality, ensure accuracy of certification documentation, and support internal/external audits.
- Collaborate with engineering to translate simulation outputs into actionable insights for product development.
- Stay current with NFRC standards and develop tools to quickly adapt workflows to new requirements.
- Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc data analysis and reporting needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or process automation.
- Proficiency with SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, R, etc.) for data processing and automation.
- Experience building dashboards and reports with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Knowledge of NFRC standards and simulation tools (THERM, WINDOW, etc.) preferred, or willingness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, fenestration, or building performance industries a plus.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$100,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO.
