Come join our Reyes Fleet team at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in New Hudson, MI. Seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our fleet shop. Shift: Full-Time 2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:30PM. Pay: $31.70/HR to start. CDL Incentive Pay—Receive an additional $1.00 on hourly rate with active CDL A.

Position title

Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B

Position Responsibilities

  • The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed
  • Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration
  • Use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers, and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
  • Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
  • Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
