JOB TYPE: Full Time | Monday-Friday | 5:00AM-2:00PM

Responsibilities

• Receive and process flooring products by unloading trucks.
• Prepare and complete flooring orders for pickup by subcontractors.
• Measure, cut and label flooring products.
• Perform inventory control and related activities.
• Load subcontractor vehicles with material and supplies for customer orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented, organized, able to juggle changing priorities
• 1-2 years of prior warehouse job experience
• Ability to perform basic math to measure products
• Inventory, cycle counts, receiving and related experience
• Ability to lift and carry products weighing 50 to 75 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Bilingual a plus, but not required
• Forklift experience a plus, but not required

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The position requires work in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment. The environment may be hot, cold, dirty, dusty or otherwise uncomfortable. Employee must be able to lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds daily. Duties may include long periods of standing, bending, stooping, climbing stairs, and walking in a warehouse. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and depth perception. Noise level is moderate to loud. PPE is provided and must be used. The role includes operating sit-down forklifts, carpet poles, hand trucks, RF scanners, balers, and equipment for measuring and cutting carpet and vinyl.
