At US FOODS, we are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator who is eager to realize their potential, grow professionally, and become a valued member of our family.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Responsibilities
The Warehouse Coordinator will perform activities that support inbound, outbound, and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight and proper distribution of warehouse items. Activities include data entry, preparation and distribution of reports, and record maintenance.
General warehouse: prepare and process routine forms, reports, and documents (inbound/outbound documents, discrepancy reports, stock and damage claims, time sheets, requisitions, shipping labels, etc.) following standard procedures; communicate with internal and external customers; respond to inquiries; research information; collect, track, and input data on operations metrics (shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service level, overtime).
Inbound: schedule receiving appointments with vendors, prepare and update the Delivery Appointment sheet, complete inbound freight processes (driver check-in/check-out), ensure readiness by assigning receiving doors, and prepare/confirm purchase orders.
Outbound: support night warehouse functions by checking returns and credit slips, assembling returned orders for proper return to picking slot; investigate picking errors; interact with warehouse personnel to resolve shipping issues; complete outbound paperwork and reports (selecting crew, route loading, drivers, trucks) and update the master storage report.

- External: Carriers, vendors
Work Environment
- Office-based environment with possible exposure to warehouse areas, including cooler and freezer environments where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse & delivery procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication; excellent telephone and customer service skills; strong math, analytical, and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Problem solving and critical thinking abilities for limited-scope issues; strong teamwork skills.
- Education: High school diploma or GED/equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications/Training: SAE, Truck Builder, Red Prairie, Kronos, Incentive/Component Pay, Road Net, XATA, Shopfax, Tandem, PowerDock equipment inventories and warranties (preferred).
Physical Qualifications
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities; occasional to frequent lifting, standing, walking, pushing/pulling, climbing/balancing, stooping/squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching above shoulder, twisting, grasping, manipulating objects, manual dexterity.

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, skills, and location. The expected base rate for this role is between $17.00 and $25.00 per hour. Overtime may apply.
