Our client specializing in innovative landscaping products is seeking a reliable, upbeat, and self-starting Warehouse Supervisor to train for the role of Warehouse Manager. The company distributes proprietary products nationwide and occasionally internationally, and is known for its exceptional quality and customer service. What is the job?
- Assemble proprietary products.
- Supervise and train seasonal, temporary, and permanent warehouse staff
- Manage daily inventory and coordinate with office staff to maintain supplies, accessories, materials, paperwork, and production schedules
- Load and unload shipments using a dolly and standing forklift
- Oversee forklift operations, train staff, and coordinate maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with office staff on incoming/outgoing shipments, freight paperwork, and documentation
- Ensure quality control and shipment accuracy
- Enforce OSHA compliance across warehouse operations
- Maintain a clean and organized facility, including daily cleaning schedules
- Support management in improving operational efficiency
- Generate packing slips, labels, and bills of lading (BOLs)
Future Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing a warehouse relocation
- Train in injection molding machine operation and safety; train others as needed
- Develop and manage mold machine production schedules
- Coordinate with office staff to reorder supplies and manage equipment maintenance and replacement
