Heavy Equipment Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator for a company based in Groveland, FL. The primary responsibility is to prepare organic mixes using a heavy equipment loader in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Prepare organic mixes with a front-end loader, ensuring correct ingredients and proportions.
- Push piles to meet setbacks, pile height, and stockpile shaping criteria set by the Department of Environmental Health Services.
- Perform safety and equipment checks before each use.
- Maintain records and reports.
- Monitor stockpiles for excessive heat, turn stockpiles, and ensure proper water usage for preparation.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate and maintain a heavy equipment loader/dozer.
- Ability to climb on/off equipment and sit in a loader for extended periods in dusty, hot environments.
- Effective communication skills, ability to read/write English, follow instructions, and perform basic math.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
