Preferred candidate will have 1 or more years’ experience with:

• D6 and D8 Bulldozer Operator (manual)
• No GPS

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance; maintain accurate records.
• Move and position raw materials and finished components using material moving equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures for operating and maintaining vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Normal setting for this job is a shop or field.
• Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity most of the workday.
• Occasionally exert physical effort to handle objects otherwise under 30 pounds.
• Occasionally exposed to physical occupational risks (e.g., cuts, burns, exposure to chemicals).
• Most of the workday exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements.

Hours & Location

• Monday – Friday, 7:00am–6:00pm
• Saturdays 6:30 – Close
• Location: Landfill in Ferris, TX
