Pay: $65,000 – $70,000 annually

Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Job Description

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting both employees and leadership across a wide range of human resources functions. This individual will manage employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits, and HR reporting while helping to maintain a positive and inclusive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment activities including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain employee records, HRIS data accuracy, and required documentation.
  • Assist with benefit administration, leave requests, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims.
  • Partner with leadership on performance management, employee engagement, and cultural initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, labor laws, and company procedures.
  • Help plan and coordinate employee recognition programs and internal events.
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics, and compliance filings as needed.
  • Participate in investigations and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Draft and update HR communications, including newsletters and social content.
  • Assist with payroll support and other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in human resources; prior generalist-level experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment law, benefits administration, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems (Paycom a plus).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
