Aston Carter is hiring: HR Generalist in Pompano Beach

Overview

The HR Generalist supports daily HR operations for a team of over 250 employees. This role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, workers’ compensation, and backup payroll support. The ideal candidate is professional, composed, and comfortable in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting and onboarding processes.
• Support workers’ compensation claims and documentation.
• Provide backup support for payroll processing.
• Maintain HR compliance and employee records.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations.
• Represent the organization with professionalism and care.

Required Skills

• Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom preferred; UKG or ADP also accepted).
• Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and workers’ compensation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit organizations.
• Supporting 100+ employees.
• Intermediate-level HR experience.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
