Executive Assistant – Supporting the COO

We’re looking for a tech-savvy, proactive Executive Assistant to support our COO. This role is highly visible and requires strong organizational skills, initiative, and discretion. You’ll split time between our Downtown Houston and Cypress offices, keeping the COO’s schedule, communications, and projects running smoothly.

Location: Downtown Houston & Cypress (Hempstead Hwy) – 100% On-Site
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 (Temp-to-Hire Preferred; Direct Hire Considered)

Core Responsibilities

• Manage a complex executive calendar and anticipate scheduling needs.
• Serve as a gatekeeper for emails, calls, and documents; draft and review correspondence.
• Prepare agendas, briefings, notes, and ensure follow-through on action items.
• Support projects, track deadlines, and coordinate deliverables.
• Handle travel, expenses, and logistics.
• Build relationships with employees, direct reports, and external partners.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of senior administrative or executive support experience
• Must be tech-savvy – skilled with Microsoft 365, Teams, Slack, project management tools, and AI.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Positive, energetic, proactive – takes initiative and works independently.
• Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential matters.
• Must be in office by 7:00 a.m.; COO is an early starter.
• Minimal overtime required.
• HR exposure a plus but not required.
