Overview

The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect has a primary responsibility of aligning SHI client needs with security architecture, consulting, professional and managed services solutions. You will collaborate with Stratascale and SHI sales organizations on cybersecurity opportunity pursuit. The focus includes risk and compliance, identity management, architecture/infrastructure, hybrid cloud security, and security operations. The primary objective is to ensure clients meet their cybersecurity needs by leveraging Stratascale’s consulting and managed services.

The Cybersecurity Architect collaborates with sales teams to strategize and execute sales opportunities, provide expert architectural advice and competitive analysis, and act as a client-facing subject matter expert. This role identifies client needs, recommends suitable services, and builds long-lasting relationships with clients and vendor partners. The Architect stays informed on industry trends, educates sales resources on offerings, and maintains cybersecurity expertise to support client deployments and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with SHI and Stratascale sales teams supporting all aspects of sales opportunity strategy and execution, including participating in client meetings, engaging internal support resources, defining solution sets/services, and driving the sales process via alignment proposals.
  • Provide expert architectural advice, licensing strategies, operational insights and competitive analysis within the partner ecosystem and core offerings.
  • Engage with sales and technical teams to initiate services sales cycle, develop and qualify opportunities, and help close open pipeline.
  • Serve as client-facing subject matter expert on Stratascale’s capabilities to help clients deploy and adopt technology.
  • Identify client needs/requirements through direct and indirect engagement and other methods to recommend appropriate consulting or managed services.
  • Establish long-lasting strategic relationships with key client contacts and become the client’s preferred resource for cybersecurity initiatives and needs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with vendor partner sales, channel and technical contacts and gain alignment on selling motions, account plans and opportunity development and sales execution.
  • Stay educated on new product technology, Stratascale capabilities, and other offerings or programs.
  • Stay informed on latest technology and innovation trends, cybersecurity trends and client vertical trends to enable conversational relevance.
  • Collaborate and train sales resources within Stratascale and SHI on consulting and managed services offerings and how clients can benefit.
  • Collaborate with SHI and Stratascale sales teams on strategy and execution of sales opportunities, including client meetings and solution development.
  • Utilize expert knowledge of partner ecosystems and core offerings to provide architectural advice, licensing strategies, and competitive analysis.
  • Engage with sales and technical teams to initiate and support the services sales cycle and opportunity development.
  • Act as a client-facing subject matter expert to assist clients in deploying and adopting technology solutions.
  • Identify client needs to recommend suitable consulting or managed services.
  • Build strategic, long-lasting relationships with key client contacts to become the preferred resource for cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with vendor partner contacts to align on sales strategies and opportunity execution.
  • Stay informed on new product technologies, Stratascale capabilities, and industry trends to maintain conversational relevance.
  • Educate and train sales resources on consulting and managed services offerings to enhance client benefits.
  • Monitor latest cybersecurity and industry-specific trends to maintain expertise and relevance.

Skill Level Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer-facing technical sales or pre-sales roles with IT service providers or OEM vendors specializing in cybersecurity. - Intermediate
  • In-depth knowledge of security services engagements, including maturity assessments, risk assessments, security policy development, and incident response, to address customer risk exposure and appropriate consulting use cases. - Intermediate
  • Practical experience as an architect, manager, or director within operational and engineering teams focused on cybersecurity, information assurance, or risk management. - Intermediate
  • Practical knowledge of security programs and risk and compliance frameworks, including standards such as NIST, CIS, SANS, NERC-CIP, PCI, HIPAA, and GDPR. - Intermediate

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
  • 3-5 years client-facing experience working on complex security infrastructure and risk and compliance needs.
  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL, CISM, CEH, CISA are preferred.

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $210,000 - $300,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
