Job Overview

Salary: $37.00 hourly / 40 hours per week. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Recruit and hire staff
• Organize buffets and banquets
• Manage kitchen operations

Experience and Specialization

7 months to less than 1 year of experience required. Specialization in South Indian cuisine.

Work Setting and Conditions

Work must be completed at the physical location (a restaurant). No option to work remotely. Fast-paced environment with standing for extended periods required.
