Job Summary
A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics in the Foley, AL area. This position will participate in the design and arrangement of machines and tooling and sequence of operations and may check that mandatory modifications are incorporated to ensure configuration compliance.

Work hours: 8am to 4pm

Responsibilities
- Ensures sequence on manufacturing process and product builds, is followed and complies with EH&S and Quality requirements.
- Owns design and arrangement of tooling and machines of the manufacturing process (layout).
- Improve manufacturing processes/ products to achieve producibility working with design engineers.
- Implement process upgrades by applying various engineering applications such as: robotics and automation.
