Night Custodian position with Christina School District.

Location: Milford Central Academy / Milford School District
Reports To: Building Chief and Principal
Starting Date: October 2025

  • Previous experience as a custodian or in housekeeping or maintenance preferred

Performance Responsibilities

  • Repetitive daily heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. at heights of 3–4 feet
  • Climb a ladder up to 15 feet
  • Perform minor maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of equipment problems
  • Perform custodial duties as assigned including but not limited to scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash collection, etc.
  • Move furniture and support special events as assigned
  • Work as part of a custodial team
  • Communicate daily in a professional manner
  • Respond to district-wide custodial duties as required by Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds (e.g., snow removal)

Terms of Employment

Twelve-month (12) employee. Daily Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Salary and Benefits

Salary range and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with Board of Education Policy.

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
