Housekeeping Supervisor Job at Pyramid Global Hospitality in West Palm Beach

We are seeking a committed and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor with experience in a luxury hotel to lead and guide the team to uphold Belgrove Resort standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Managing the housekeeping team: assign duties to room attendants, lead the team, and provide daily briefings
• Inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards and hotel policies are met
• Responding to housekeeping requests from guests or management in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner
• Maintaining inventory: monitor cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed
• Maintaining a positive attitude and treating guests and team members with respect
• Training, motivating, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff members
• Maintaining a regularly scheduled cleaning program
• Updating room statuses in the computer
• Following policies, including OSHA regulations and all hotel procedures

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English
• Previous supervisory experience in a luxury hotel required
• General knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safety preferred
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds
• Ability to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects
• Flexible hours and days worked
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
