Overview

Production Supervisor 3rd Shift with Shift Differential at Lukjan Metal Products Inc (Korda Manufacturing). This role supports manufacturing of high-quality sheet metal pipe, duct, and fittings for the wholesale HVAC industry. Location: Wooster, Ohio.

What you will do

• Maintain safety and productivity for the entire 3rd shift; work with the Plant Manager and Associates to meet production targets and ensure operations are performed at or above expected levels.
• Maintain a safe, legally compliant workplace and enforce compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production activities on the 3rd shift in a manufacturing environment.
• Coach, mentor and provide feedback to production workers.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment; at least three years preferred.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor and provide feedback to production workers.
• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

Compensation and benefits

• Salary negotiable based on experience.
• Hourly rate: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
• 3rd Shift — 9:30 pm to 6:00 am
• Benefits after 90 days include medical/dental/vision; 401(k) with employer contribution after one year; employer-paid life insurance and short-term disability; buy-up plans for long-term disability; PTO accrual from day one with up to 40 hours of PTO in year one.
