Schedule Day 4x10-Hour shift (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Description The Registered Nurse in the CVOR specialty will provide high-quality care in the operating room setting, focusing on cardiovascular procedures. Candidates must have recent experience and a strong skill set in both scrub and circulate roles.
Responsibilities
Assist during open heart and vascular surgical procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.
Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment.
Monitor and assess patient conditions pre- and post-operatively.
Provide education and support to patients and families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 18 months recent CVOR experience required.
Experience with open heart and vascular procedures preferred.
Must possess a valid nursing license in the state of practice.
Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Submission of one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director in the specialty.
Must work at least every other holiday.
