Location: Crested Butte, CO

Pay range: $21.50-$22.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions; reviewing, organizing and compiling management reports on a timely basis and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
  • Communicate concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management; perform guest service agent duties as required (check-in, check-out, switchboard operation and reservations).
  • Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports; prepare and distribute daily and month-end reports per hotel standards.
  • Audit and reconcile Front Desk and Food & Beverage Cashier’s work; audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
  • Input and update financial information into corporate communications network; perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual data processing system functions as required.
  • Keep management informed of unusual operational or financial events and deviations from policies or procedures; ensure overall guest satisfaction and respond to governmental inquiries.
  • Handle guest requests and provide guest services as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Guest Service Experience preferred; computer knowledge/skills required.
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required; ability to work late/overnight shifts.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and prioritize duties; maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance; comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations.
  • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel-related areas and maintain confidentiality of information; take initiative and anticipate guest or operational needs.
  • Attend required meetings and trainings; perform other duties as requested by management.
