Position Title: Forklift - 2nd Shift

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:30pm - 12:00am (Monday - Friday)

QPS Employment Group is hiring Stand-Up Forklift Operators for a company in Marshalltown, IA. This is a great chance to join a team-oriented environment and put your forklift skills to work!

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift to move, load and unload materials
• Use handheld scanner to track and prepare orders for shipment
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
• Package and prepare items for safe transportation
• Inspect materials for damages or defects
• Rotate and stock materials as needed

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally (3-5x/day) and 10lbs repetitively (10-15x/day)
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Ability to bend, twist, pull and crouch throughout shift
• Ability to read and write in English
• Previous forklift experience preferred
