Ameritech is hiring: Experienced Forklift Operator in Houston

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Forklift Operator for a position in the Houston area. This position requires advanced forklift skills, including precision loading, safe handling of various materials, and efficient trailer/container work. This is not a general forklift role — candidates must have multiple years of hands-on experience operating forklifts in demanding environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift in a warehouse or yard environment
• Load and unload enclosed trailers and Conex containers with precision
• Handle 2-high pallet stacks with stability and control
• Move and stage the following materials: Bagged products on pallets, Drums, bulk bag products
• Follow all site safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of recent forklift operation experience required
• Must be very proficient with: Enclosed trailer and container loading/unloading & 2-high pallet stack handling.
• Familiarity with handling different product types.
• Must demonstrate smooth, controlled, and precise forklift operation
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
• Must be eligible to certify on-site at the client location
