Hotel Night Auditor Job at Peachtree Group in Paso Robles

The Night Auditor will conduct all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include auditing duties, balancing duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports. While completing these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as guest check-in/check-outs, making reservations, and answering guest questions. Proactive thinking, guest security, and maintaining a safe, clean, and friendly work environment are expected.

Key responsibilities include:

• Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift.
• Checking the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
• Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
• Processing guest registrations, including collecting payment.
• Preparing express checkout folios.
• Maintaining room status inventory.
• Communicating shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.
• Maintaining and cleaning the lobby and bathroom as needed.
• Communicating information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
• Working closely with all hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Answering inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, and local dining, shopping, entertainment, and travel directions; explaining in-room and hotel features.
• Completing all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.
